An astute observation. But, for the same reason I read 12 Rules for Life with little hope: everyone was talking about it.

The scorn heaped on "Underwater Basket Weaving" was based on college courses in experiential indigenous anthropology. Reeds are traditionally softened underwater to make them flexible for bending into baskets. It's a more useful skill for most than memorizing the 3 orders of ancient Greek columns.

Shan Wareing (who I can't seem to tag) recommended I watch Inside Out a few months back because it's helpful to understand emotions! I have not gotten around to it yet. But you have reminded me, and as I am already crying today... 😅

By wonderful coincidence, had I bumped into someone, this was the book I finished this morning. (I didn't think it was very good. Pseudoscience. 3/10).
