and yeah, commissioning art IS a skill you can spend your life getting better at, envisioning strong concepts and giving the artist enough material to realize it, id imagine AI daisychaining has a similar skill ceiling, but the credit you can take for the final artwork is still pretty meager.

i'm aware of more indepth AI workflows, i think for me to consider you the author of the work you have to procure the data & train the machine yourself, or else it's basically 1 step removed from just commissioning & directing artists.
