Oh yeah I seem to recall something about that. What I have been curious about is I wonder if they have evolved in recent years, due to people, to become even more intelligent than the previous studies. I look forward to a day when we can find these things out in shorter time frames.

Though I saw something recently stating that the mirror test wasn't actually as accurate as they say it is. Not to say it isn't, but they are talking about redefining the whole thing and changing the testing method to include things like situation recognition and problem solving. 🤔

Aghh African Grey was my next choice there. They really are beautiful birds and 28 years is impressive! I honestly think that people don't appreciate the Grey, white and "basic" toned birds enough. Everyone is always obsessed with the rainbow and bright colors. Nothing basic about an African grey.

Oh and I love your gray macaw. Beautiful bird! He is a macaw right? It's a bit difficult to tell in the little thumbnail, as I can't quite see all the discerning features. Still Beautiful though.

I had lunch with my son at the restaurant of the Kouvola Liquorice Factory, the factory is famous for its products.
For lunch: pulled beef, creamed potatoes, side salad and for dessert fruit in vanilla quark.

Ooh mind sharing your recipe for pita bread? I have been adapting my favorite foods to allergy free, but most of the pita ones I have found are easy, but not really up to par, if you get what I mean. I think the ratios are just off, or something 🤔.

Made Peanut Butter and Jelly cookies (King Arthur recipe, made with their raspberry jammy bits). I don’t know why modern cookie recipes make such big cookies (I do, it’s Levain and probably Milk Bar), but I prefer a more snacky, manageable size, so I cut the portions in half. They are very yummy. 🍽️🍜

It's funny how a rainy weather can make you feel a little down, even though it's cozy and warm inside the house. I miss the snow to brighten up the scenery!
For hubby’s gluten-free breakfast: cucumber, bell pepper, radishes, Finnish pear, mandarin, grapefruit, zucchini, melons. 🍜

The centre of the bowl is taken up with a mung bean pancake, which is a kind of grainy green. The pancake is topped with shredded egg and shreds of red chilli.

On a round white plate clockwise are a piece of corn on the cob, a pork ribs, pickle slices and a ramekin with barbecue sauce.

Oven baked baby back ribs with corn on the cob, pickles and BBQ sauce on the side.

Ribs brined in water, salt & brown sugar, dried and coated with Rendezvous, seasoning and wrapped in foil and cooked in the oven at 275 for 2 and 1/2 hours.
