Played some BattleTech Classic for the first in a long while, and I forgot how whacky things start to fall apart.
PHX pilot failed consciousness, woke up next turn, got a leg atomized in a crit, destroyed the other in the fall, and immediately went unconscious again. Such is life.

Today marks 15 years since the release of Fallout: New Vegas.

Yesterday was the 18th anniversary of Halo 3, so me and a few of my best friends spent a few hours blasting through a chunk of the campaign.
Despite my internet issues, it made me remember how much I really love and missed this game.

Still moving stuff to the new place and unpacking, but I took a moment last night to plug in the TV, plug in my PS2, and pop a game in for 30 minutes. Sitting in the half lit basement in a well loved recliner, I was suddenly 13 again.
Weird how some things hit you.

Picked up a copy of THPS 3+4 today.
I'm trying to be less of a sentimental old man, but these games really did define my taste in music, and cemented skating in my mind as, as the kids say, sick as hell.

I know she knows what the alarm is, because when it goes off, she looks at me, and at the slightest sign of my movement, BOLTS to the kitchen.
So if you recognize it why wake me AN HOUR EARLY just to get physically tossed out of the room Every Single Day??

My cat is a creature of habit, but for reasons that elude me.
Despite having a clear alarm to signal breakfast, she still comes in and makes noise until I throw her out of the bedroom far before then. Sometimes as much as 2 or 3 hours early.

Remember the Pocket Pikachu? What if there were more Pokémon in the form of virtual pets like Tamagotchi or Digimon?
