I always say I just don't understand the business part of making games, but slowly over time I have come to the conclusion that business does not want to be understood, it is hostile to comprehension

I know this is not mathematically sound logic cause there's only one CEO and many developers, but also a $30m paycheck for one person while closing studios is also not mathematically sound

I just don't get how that is ever good business
