because there were also people at the conf, when we were discussing CR, asking how the other people researching it managed to keep up with it. I think my answer is both that I'm disabled and only work part-time so I *have* the time, but also that I would be making the time/watching it anyway.

there was discussion over the conference about whether we should (not) study our own fandoms, and as I work on edits for my Critical Role paper, I can't help but think that you *have* to be a fan to study a medium where you have 4-6h of video a week to watch - just for the main show alone.
