I found one that has pretty clear 'sections' on each page, and got some nice markers, and I'm hopeful this might actually work.

the level of self-doubt I have is truly crippling and if this can help me work through it by giving me a visual representation of my efforts, it would be so invaluable.

mentor has given me a suggestion to help combat how stuck I have gotten in the 'I do no work and am a terrible PhD' thought spiral - one to engage my creativeness but find a way of measuring the unmeasurable. her suggestion is to colour a portion of a colouring book each time I make progress.

absolutely. even in my field where we *literally research disability* there's still so many inaccessible events (not just in terms of hybridity either!). it's definitely better than other fields but still.

I'm in two minds about this because yes I'd rather they tried *at all*, but I also get so frustrated when something's advertised as hybrid and then isn't accessible to me because my sound-sensitive autistic ass cannot handle bad audio quality.

prob still prefer they try, but ugh.

this summer I'm going to my first in-person conference since Feb 2020. I'm only doing it because my desire to go outweighed the accessibility challenges posed, and I'm still terrified.
