The Monsal trail is a good starting point from Bakewell , it’s an old railway line that’s now a great trail for running /cycling and walking 😁

Wild weather for today’s GVC 27 mile6200ft event. Sleet,hail and bogs hardly being able to stand up but sooo exhilarating 😬 my kinda weather! An apt kit bag and pie n peas reward 😋 went down a treat😋

My son and seven others went and it was £600 😳… ! Possibly a lot of that was drinks 🤔
