I'm in a party of 4 (plus DM). 2 of us are silly little fey, one is a tabaxi that has a pretty solid moral code, and one is a little autognome that we all love.

2nd update: After this, one of the other players picked up the call of DM and we've been playing the Icewind Dale campaign ever since! It's been so fun!

It's always strange talking to people about SDCC who don't grasp what SDCC is like.

Having a hard time with this scene in a book I'm reading. It's not gruesome or anything, but the characters are TALKING THROUGH A MOVIE IN THE THEATER.

I'm unhinged about a music video.

I'm in a fandom for one. It's a little lonely, but I can't stop, won't stop.

All because I saw a Roblox-Walmart ad.

I add the cast and director to imdb (I've still gotta work on the crew) for anyone else who might be as crazy as me. I watch the bts the director shared. I watch the video multiple times. I name my DnD character on the main character (and loosely inspired by the vibe.)

Back to youtube I go to look up the music video.

I am instantly obsessed. I'm obsessed and interested in the story told. I want to see more of the characters, the cops, the patrons, the joyful rebel. I want six seasons and a movie. I'm gonna be the singular writer of its fanfiction.

As I'm listening, I notice the repeating clip in the corner, and I am intrigued.

Fast forward to late 2024, I suddenly remember that this song exists. Maybe it's time I listen to my Liked Songs?

I learn Spotify wrapped ended sometime in November, because this song was not on my list despite going on loop most of that month.

I have no interest in Roblox and little interest in Walmart, but that song caught me immediately. I searched and found the song was "Good Feeling" by Duvall.

I immediately put it with "songs I like and pretend I'll listen to but never do," aka my Liked Songs on Spotify.

Had an absolute burst of inspiration for a story today. Haven't had that kind of inspiration in forever, and it was thrilling.

Will I actually do anything with it? Probably not. But you never know!
