Even though the figures grip was very miniscule on the book, it had a noticeable amount of strength behind it

The figure would take back his hand with a snap before standing up straight

he'd tower over the seraphim at a terrifying 8ft

The figure replied, his voice monotonous and glitchy

His crystallised hands would hold out the book a bit further, keeping it between the tips of his claws

The figure would continue to stare from the darkness, his cloaked form appearing to somehow be darker than the shadows he hid inside

The figure held out the book to the other, his hand completely covered in black crystals looking akin to a gauntlet

The figure would rattle as he wandered over still keeping his distance and staying in the shadows

....in his grasp was the book the seraphim was looking for

A silent figure would be watching the mortal from a distance, keeping himself to the shadows
