this game is So Good please go play it. absolutely beautiful art in all senses, storytelling and emotion, and just a joy to play. i may or may not have cried a lot playing it. also relatable diaspora life stuff which hit especially hard. so good.

a mobile rip-off that completely sanitizes the original game of its context (re:cuisine, culture, diaspora life) and replaces it all with white bread sandwiches is a *fascinatingly* apt, albeit unintentional, metaphor.

Someone just proved how boring and shallow they are by changing the og concept to this generic whatever, and didn’t even have the skills or passion to make their own assets. Kinda symbolic.
