Communists have long held that the Civil War was the completion of the bourgeois revolution in the US, on this President's Day. We honor Abraham Lincoln who saw the role that labor would eventually play as the basis of a future proletarian revolution.

Today, cadre in New Jersey paid a visit to the Paul Robeson memorial in New Brunswick.

In dialectical materialism, there are no purely good or purely bad figures. Despite certain contradictions, George Washington, a bourgeois revolutionist, and his revolutionary organizations smashed the remnants of feudalism and British colonialism in America and forged the path towards democracy.
