Does this mean that Starmer would sit back whilst Putin kidnapped Zelenskyy or Iran kidnapped Netanyahu? Because one state kidnapping the head of another state (no matter how objectionable) is not how things have previously been done under international law. And this is a genuine question.

Starmer is supposed to be a lawyer. Which bit of international law does kidnapping a head of state from inside their own country by another state fall under?

Does this mean Iran can now kidnap Netanyahu without consequence? Or Putin kidnap Zelenskyy? Because this is what Starmer is condoning here.
