High school fall sports start next week, and MaxPreps recently named Sandra Day O'Connor High School senior Becky Currence a top-10 flag football player in Arizona to watch this season. 👀

This year's event will be held at Mountain Ridge High School Wednesday, August 27, from 6-8 p.m.

The National PTA School of Excellence program is an improvement and recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs, families and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.

Congratulations to the Stetson Hills School PTSA, named one of four Arizona school PTAs to win the 2024-26 National PTA School of Excellence award!

So we JUST started the new school year... that means it's a full day schedule this Friday.

PLC Fridays will start next Friday, August 8, when schools release 90 minutes earlier for staff training.

Kindergarteners, 8th graders, and all Mustangs in between (including the teachers) had a blast at West Wing School today.

The 1st through the 8th grade students at Terramar Academy of the Arts all had a great day, but it seems the kindergarten Titans (or maybe their parents?) had the happiest afternoon of everyone.

Creativity and collaboration abound at Park Meadows Elementary School this morning as the Scorpions are learning all about their new classmates.

Make it a great day Coyotes! Students at Mountain Shadows Elementary are off to a howlin' good start to the new school year.

Ready to roar at Mountain Ridge High School! Freshmen are finding their way around campus, while the class of 2026 gears up for its senior year.

Welcome to the Creek! The Bobcats at Copper Creek Elementary are ready to lead the way this year.

The gates are open, and class is in session at Hillcrest Middle School as the Falcons take flight for the new school year.

From staff photo scavenger hunts at Desert Mountain School, to new furniture and equipment at West Wing School, and meet the teacher events and staff training in between, we're ready for the school year!

The bins accept gently-used clothing, shoes, new and unopened toiletries, and other non-perishable items. Donations of new and unopened packs of underwear and socks for school-age boys and girls are also appreciated.
