A fifth wave of operations was launched in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality this morning.As part of the operations conducted as part of 4 separate investigations,detention orders were issued for 47 people,including the Mayor of Büyükçekmece, the Mayor of Gaziosmanpaşa and the Mayor of Avcılar.

İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesine yönelik yolsuzluk soruşturmasında beşinci dalga operasyonu bu sabah başlatıldı.4 farklı soruşturmadan yürütülen operasyon kapsamında Büyükçekmece Belediye Başkanı Gaziosmanpaşa Belediye Başkanı Avcılar Belediye Başkanı dahil 47 kişi hakkında gözaltı kararı verildi.

Kartalkaya fire disaster: Indictment accepted for 32 suspects. The indictment regarding the Grand Kartal Hotel fire in Kartalkaya, where 78 people, 36 of whom were children, died, has been accepted. The indictment calls for 1,998 TL each for 13 people and up to 22.5 years in prison for 19 suspects.

36'sı çocuk 78 kişinin can verdiği Kartalkaya'daki Grand Kartal Otel yangınıyla ilgili iddianame kabul edildi. İddianamede 13 kişiye bin 998'er, 19 şüpheli hakkında da 22,5 yıla kadar hapis cezası isteniyor.

More than a year has passed since Türkiye announced that it was completely cutting off trade with Israel. Ankara says that imports and exports to Israel have been completely stopped as of May 2, 2024, and that no customs procedures have been carried out for any goods during this period.
