Also helps to add more strokes of a similar nature so it looks deliberate lol

1) Color Theory - Random stroke match with the color scheme? Does the placement interfere with the composition?
2) Composition - Does this stroke match the line of action or shapes of a character or assist in guiding the viewer's eye?

TLDR: If it's not distracting, you can get away with a LOT.
