I’ve seen people hate on Kurogiri for identical reasons people hate on Rei. And it’s like.. guys. They are all victims of one man. They were forced into this situation. Hate on the abuser, not criticize the victim’s every faults or failings

Thinking on it, I think that feeling is because of the intersections between trafficking and forced marriage. Different crimes legally but similar in a lot of ways. They were both forced to take care of a child. And they love the child but they didn’t want them and shouldn’t have to do it

And the Identity changes in general. Like he already had a mostly fully formed identity when he was murdernapped. So unlike Tenko, who was about 5, it’s harder for people to buy that such a major identity change happened. But it can, especially in long-term captivity. If anything, it’s scarier
