On a semi-related note, here's what total primary turnout looks like in Texas now:

GOP Primary: 1,561,317 / 66% = 2,365,632
Dem Primary: 1,591,829 / 66% = 2,411,862

It looks like Dem turnout was ~46,000 higher than GOP turnout!
