In regards to stability it is kinda crazy that since 2002 the Sounders have had the same owner (for a few years he was minority owner) two coaches and three general managers.

I like it a lot! I am very much a minimalist in many ways and also a fan of wildlife, especially marine wildlife as it reminds me of the Gulf Coast.

He would row himself out there & spend days to weeks just watching nature and sketching what he saw which we would then turn into ink block prints. Historical psychoanalysis is extremely fraught but some people think he would have been autistic today.

Anyway, sorry to bother about a local artist.

He isn’t very well known outside the Gulf Coast (of the southern United States) unfortunately. I don’t think he ever sold any of his work. He died pretty early due to lung cancer. Suspected due to his staying in the smoke of his fire on the barrier islands to keep the mosquitoes away.

Walter D Anderson was a South Mississippian artist/eccentric who did a lot of work that was both a bit stylized/minimalist and nature focused.

That’s great. Due to both the subject and style I assumed it Walter Anderson.

Maybe we are trying to showcase him in these international matches?
