Sword of Vermilion, early and ambitious Genesis RPG! Early RPG that tried out a lot of different things, I always enjoyed it! The soundtrack is especially fantastic! #sega #swordofvermilion

Shadow Dancer: Secret of Shinobi! More of a sequel to the arcade Shinobi and less to the Super Shinobi games. One of my favs, where you play as a ninja and his dog! #sega #shadowdancer

Altered Beast, arcade classic and the original Sega Genesis pack-in! That first boss makes quite the impression!

A lot of my other faves are well represented so I’ll go with Steep Slope Sliders and it’s chill vibes gliding down a snowy mountain, particularly with a Nap on Monday song playing.

Cartoon Saloon, too! Secret of the Kells, Song of the Sea. Admittedly, I still need to watch Breadwinner and Wolfwalkers.

Alien Syndrome concepts. I often entertain the idea of making a homebrew version of this for the Sega Genesis (not a direct port, akin to Shadow Dancer or ESWAT) since it never made its way there which is such a shame. But alas, an idea that’ll probably just stay in my head. #aliensyndrome #sega

Shinobi 3 inktober I did from last year, so excited for the new one!!

Landscape study, drawn teeny tiny. I wanted to focus on the color and light though the graffiti was kinda fun, but I left out the rest cuz there was a lot. Inspired by those “Japan in real life, Japan in anime” posts.

Been waiting for this! Played through Shinobi 3DS last year, which was pretty awesome! And the 3 Genesis games are absolute faves!
