I am outraged by the unjust arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka earlier this afternoon outside of Delaney Hall in Newark.

I am calling for his immediate release by federal law enforcement.

getting arrested if necessary to show the public the depths to which this administration is willing to sink is what we’ve been asking Dems to do - let’s show up for Ras Baraka now & make sure every elected sees that putting skin in the game is exactly what voters want our representatives doing

Why is any service that people need in order to be part of modern society privatized?

Why doesn't the government provide our utilities? Our cell phone service? Our internet?

Why aren't these services run by the government at cost?

Personally though, I'm waiting a bit to see if I want to reunite with my Chinese spy. Not sure if I even want to go back to TikTok if access is restored.

TikTok's FYP had become a hell scape of shop ads which is the opposite of why I enjoyed the platform in the first place.

I've been really proud of the sheer spite being demonstrated by Americans with the exodus to REDnote.

Digital protest is the only option for most of us because of how little we have in terms of protections. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I didn't have TikTok pulling the plug themselves on my bingo card. Certainly makes for a stronger narrative if it gets "saved".

Do not blindly praise anyone in the government if TikTok comes back online in the US.
