Update on this saga- now my inboxes are a complete mess, and I feel like I’m being punished by the company for wanting a tiny bit of privacy. SSO is so ubiquitous- untangling from the all powerful G is likely impossible. Is it too much to want good #tech AND #privacy?

I chose option -B- yesterday & it felt so LUXURIOUS to sit & read 2 books, cover to cover. Loved “First State of Being” by Erin Entrada Kelly (deftly drawn characters- really came together for me), & “Xolo” by Donna Barba Higuera was a visual & storytelling treat! #kidlit #booksky #edusky #TLsky

Not. Okay. We all need to be watching and standing up for book access and freedom to read, no matter where you live. The consequences of terrible legislation are so far-reaching, and are being effectively copy-pasted in other states. #booksky #freadom

That’s great! Do they have any Spanish language materials? We are a DLI school, so I’m always scouting. Sadly, Lectorum is closing so one of our big vendors will no longer be an option.

Took a walk around the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park today. Still noticeable effects from last year’s hurricanes. Enjoying the Florida warmth this vacation week. ☀️

Are you using the “5 Kinds of Nonfiction” framework? That’s a great way to teach active/traditional NF. Adding a verb to what nonfiction helps us do is a great strategy!
