Just like Twitter plus Γ§a change for Bluesky needing an edit button!
Meet with new and old CNIO colleagues today.
I shared my vision to ensure our comms and engagement has greater focus against team priorities to ensure our messages have more meaning and impact to achieve our objectives!
ALT: the national EPR useability survey: have your say. We want to hear from all NHS staff who use an electronic patient record system in their work. Share your experiences before Friday 20 December and help us improve our clinical systems for the future.
π¨Deadline: EPR Useability Survey 20 December
NHS England's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Useability Survey closes this week so don't miss out on having your say.
EVERY response matters to provide greater feedback
Each survey takes 8 minutes:

Been meaning to read this book by Ros Atkins for a while.
Looking to improve clarity and impact in my writing.
This image shows an old Twitter post from @jameslanewrites. The tweet says "After taking time away I've been reflecting on the role of social media in the digital transformation of healthcare... How do we use this place for good - making meaningful connections, seeing more of what's possible and sharing knowledge across boundaries?
I've been analysing old social posts I write (such is how I roll)...
In an answer to this image... social media/Bluesky have a huge butterfly effect you don't always realise your posts have.
So TL:DR... keep posting for the greater good, you are making a difference.

As the starter packs max out at 250 I'm going to pull together both a digital nurse and digital midwife one so lots of room for expansion.
Nurse one is here (midwife to follow):

Jeez. Just been sent an email with a QR code as an image to scan to access a website.
Apart from being completely ridiculous and unnecessary, without two devices I'm not sure how you do that!
Just here β¦ trying to work out how this app works!
Any top tips? π€
Hi Kumbi good to see you on here - I keep using the search function to find people/topics of interest. Therfore when posting make sure to include key words related to your interests so you're easier to find for like minded people.

Whatβs the starting point & how will they be supported to gain confidence, knowledge & skills to use more digital tools to do what works for them.
Good morning all-
Looking forward to listening to the replay of Nursing Times Digital Nursing event today!
James's progress through GCS Advance: Practitioner course (so far) There are eight modules required to become a GCS Advance: Practitioner. Although it's worth noting not all modules require equal time commitment. Image shows a pie chart with two segments - Not completed (in red) 50% and Completed (in green) 50%. Another module complete on the GCS Advance: Practitioner course.
Been really insightful learning so far - in tribute to the 'Data and insights for communicators' module I just did, here's a visual that tells the story of my progress.
Definitely - now onto the 6,000 other jobs I've been putting off! π€£

My #High5Friday
- Last bulletin of the year out
- Another hour on my Gov Comms course done

- Nice long weekend celebrating my daughters birthdays
- Painting the skirting board (only been putting off for 6 months!)
Image text says "On the challenges of implementing digital systems: quote "implementing digital systems requires not just new technology, but a shift in mindset. We have to remember that the system is only as good as the people using it."
Beware over depending on using ChatGPT and other AI tools to do your writing.
This is a cracking quote from a transcript, the only problem is no speaker actually said it and is a paraphrased sound bite from the full conversation.
3 years today I've been with the National CNIO team @englandcnio.bsky.social
It's been a blessing to work with such visonary leaders who have given me space to grow and belief in my own thinking.

After what feels like centuries of fiddling about and tinkering with this strategy, I told myself to stop trying to get it perfect and just finish the 1st draft of the damn thing so my team can comment on it.
Finally got that done today!
