I think that is what MSL is trying to get X to realize.

My point is just that Xhekaj sometimes overreacts to those hits rather than picking the right time and place.

I’m watching and listening but not able to visualize Hughes’ moves at the deadline. Stand pat and let this group show improvement over last year. Add pieces and create an oversupply situation next year or find a Hughes’ magic solution that is somewhere in the middle.

I watched last night’s game while thinking about Xhekaj. With the number of cheap shots on Habs players I think that Xhekaj might have tried to even the score and risk the possibility of tilting the ice in Washington’s favour. Maybe MSL is trying to get him to pick his spots a little better.

I think Dobes and Montembeault will both get starts from now until the end of the regular season. After that, maybe Dobes and Fowler unless Montembeault really picks up his game.

There is a lot about them to dislike. They take a lot of liberties with our players.
