In a vehicle pursuit ICE hit and killed an elementary school teacher Linda Davis in Savannah, GA. ICE had been chasing Oscar Lopez in Chatham County, a county that has a strict no chase policy. He ended up running a red light and crashed into Linda Davis' car. She was then taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased. Local police said if they had been involved they would have helped go after Lopez in a calm manner and in a way that did not endanger other people around them. Lopez had no criminal history. The county itself, Chatham County, has a strict no chase policy. Meaning if trained officers were on this pursuit, this would have never happened. RIP Linda Davis 🕊🙏🏼
