Brady Tkachuk talks ‘clearly fake’ TikTok shared by White House, Trump call and gold medal Tkachuk and teammate Jake Sanderson addressed reporters in Ottawa for the first time since winning an Olympic gold medal in men's hockey.

In the video, Brady’s answer is overdubbed to make him appear to refer to Canadians as “maple syrup-eating f—s”.

It has been viewed over 11 million times.

To be clear, I meant that Edwards made history as the first Black woman to represent the USA for women's hockey at the Games (Sorry, I sent this tweet thinking it would only reach my mostly pro-hockey audience).

Laila Edwards made history as the first Black woman to represent the USA at the Olympics. She assists on the tying goal from Hilary Knight to send this game to overtime.

Now, she’s the first Black woman to win an Olympic Gold medal with Team USA’s women’s hockey team.
