When I go to the kitchen and these two things are not to do, I make me a coffee, take a slice of Dutch farmer's cake, and look around what has to be cleaned.... in the near future. 😉😇

Actually, as I had planned yesterday, Sunday, I intended to start the house cleaning today, Monday. Now it is already 14:30, and I am still searching in every corner and under all the cabinets for where my desire and motivation for the task have hidden.

Snowdrops under cyclamen, one is beginning to open, several buds are just coming out of the ground. Schneeglöckchen unter Alpenveilchen, eins beginnt sich zu öffnen, mehrere Knospen kommen gerade aus dem Boden.
Some animals hibernate. Snowdrops hibernate in summer. And it is always a joy when the first autumn snowdrops actually appear.

Wild blueberries in snail rings made of green-painted sheet steel, featuring mesh baskets constructed from aviary wire to protect against curious birds. Mulched with hay and sprinkled all around with coffee grounds. The plant passport states: Vaccinium myrtillus. Waldheidelbeeren in Schneckenringen aus grün lackiertem Stahlblech mit Gitterkörben aus Volierendraht zum Schutz vor neugierigen Vögeln. Mit Heu gemulcht und rundherum mit Kaffeesatz abgestreut. Der Pflanzenpass sagt: Vaccinium myrtillus.
Just planted some wild blueberries; hopefully, there will be a small harvest next year.
Gerade Waldheidelbeeren gepflanzt, hoffentlich gibts nächstes Jahr schon ein wenig Ernte.
Zojuist wat bosbessen geplant, hopelijk is er volgend jaar al een kleine oogst.

Theoretically, I have planted two types of grapes:
- Venus, the best blue, seedless
- Lakemont, sweet, seedless
The third on the image, the big ones with seeds, is unknown, but welcome, tastes great with plenty of juice.

The two small 'wild meadows' at home I've mowed; this is to be done twice a year. The cuttings, still coarse, are spread thickly under bushes and trees, allowing little creatures to nest there during winter, as well as in the soil of the wild meadows.

Today, I was at the Autumn plant market in the archaeological open-air park in Hesse, Germany. Except for plants, there was a "Peru" stall, where I bought an Alpaca vest, and in the "Ireland" stall, I bought a new cap for the winter. Impressive was wild flower meadow there.
