unfortunately this kind of stereotypical "women on a diet" joke has been a thing for a while and i think a lot of people have subconsciously put a separation between these jokes and eating disorders and therefore these kinds of jokes weasel their way in

seeing talk about that Salt and Pepper scene in IIR7 and im not sure if anybody gaf about my opinion on it but i think it's both a very tasteless joke that shouldn't be there to begin with AND not a reflection of what AE actually think of eating disorders
