Its been a hot minute since I could just sit down and do some gesture drawing. I feel like Im kinda re-learning my anatomy process since I cant just feel it out like I could before. This is my cat cheese and hes sick :( but you can help!

we took him to the vet to get some rashes + scratches checked out, along with the test and bills for treating those, his urine also flared. he needs more tests to find out if his organs are okay

the bills for the initial testing were already over $500 usd. adding in medication brings it closer to $600 and we still need to check his organs

both my mom + I are on disability, and my dads income can be inconsistent. with ssi, ssdi, otc, and food stamp cuts, our paychecks are already being docked. we cannot afford to fully lay off the vet bills

So yesterday I was in a car accident.
Thankfully I managed to remain relatively unharmed from the car crash save for the seatbelt hitting me in the stomach and some mental trauma. However I had my Switch in my pocket so the joycon is busted. I think it's best for me to open up art commissions again.

I meant to get this piece done a lot sooner but I got there in the end. This is specifically an art contest submission for @themsmischief.bsky.social but also a great pull to get back into art when and where I can. This was just a really fun piece to work on and Im glad I went for it ^^
