Telegraph declines to tell regulator how fake banker story got published The Telegraph has refused to tell IPSO how an article about a made-up banker supposedly hit by school fee rises came to be published.

Extraordinary that the Telegraph is refusing to tell Ipso how its story about imaginary couple Al and Alexandra Moy and their non-existent children Ali, Harry and Barry got published.

Veteran silk Robert Venables KC denies tax evasion charges.

Venables famously threatened to β€œset the dogs” on anti-tax-avoidance campaigners and called them β€œtrespassing scum” at the Golden Handshake awards in Oxford in 2012. A trial is due later this year.

The @ipso.co.uk ruling of Telegraph’s preposterous β€œWe earn Β£345k but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays”, reveals the article to have been a fabrication. There is no such family as Al, Alexandra, Ali, Harry and Barry Moy. Glad to have acted as lead complainant on this.

Nigel Farage is off to the USA to do a speech to a US think tank this weekend.

No visit to Clacton, cares more about Republicans than British people.

In the last 4 years we have fired close to 60,000 Iranian brand drones into Ukraine. During that time Fidias smiled & said, "so sad but not my problem, cut a deal".

Half a dozen hit Cyprus & he wets himself without seeing that the events are connected.

In the Church of Scotland, our courts have the final say on disciplinary matters. Free church have gone to secular industrial tribunals if they've been sacked, but the Kirk's constitutional position means that's not really an option for our ministers

TBF, that's true of our presbyteries, too, because much disciplinary procedure is dealt with now by a Judicial Commission answerable to the General Assembly. One of my elders served on that, so she got much more experience of that than I've had in 30 odd years in ministry

Here's the original complaint. According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, at least 110 complaints received from 40 units in 30 different locations describe receiving similar briefings from officers who say that Trump is God's anointed working to bring about Armageddon.

Interestingly enough, if DJT still has membership at Marble Collegiate Church (and if UCC/RCA disciplinary procedures are not too far afield from the PCUSA ones) he could still to this day face a church tribunal in which his membership is removed and rendered void πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Trump is wrong. "Sharia courts" in the UK are not actual courts. They are not part of the judiciary & have no legal authority.

They are private bodies that offer Islamic guidance & mediation to Muslims.

Christians & Jews have Beth Din courts & ecclesiastical tribunals that operate in the same way.

Trump lashes out at the United Kingdom:

"The UK has been very uncooperative... They've ruined relationships... They got windmills all over the place that are ruining the country, ruining the landscapes, ruining the beautiful fields... You have Sharia courts adjudicating law."

1/ In Serbia, he and his political organization would be reelected 12 years after being ousted from office, while remaining the most popular voting bloc in the country.

Honestly, the level of US clueless exceptionalism on display coming from anti-MAGA people truly is...disturbing. ⬇️
