What a fantastic Open Evening! From the international cafe in our MFL department to a heart dissection in the Biology lab, there were so many wonderful displays and activities on show! A big thank you to all staff and students who were there helping to show off FHS at its best.

It looks like our Year 12 Physics students had a great trip to Geneva - visiting the Large Hadron Collider at CERN as well as the Red Cross Museum and History of Science Museum. They also squeezed in some chocolate tasting and sunbathing on the shores of the lake! #schooltrip

Results of the UK Maths Trust Junior Challenge are in! Nine gold certificates, 17 silver certificates and 36 bronze certificates plus a record number of students qualifying for the Junior Kangaroo! And one Y8 student who has qualified for the Junior Olympiad! Huge well done, boys!

In today's assembly, we marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day, remembering the bravery and sacrifice of those who brought peace to Europe in 1945 and students were tasked with exploring the impact of the war on people's lives and the celebrations that followed. #VEDay80
