Managed to untie and let a little gas out. Just half an inch, and the holes immediately became almost impossible to see, so I think they're safe. Gave it a half-knot just in case.

I hate wasting even a little helium, but I don't want it to pop and waste it all.

A few hours ago I inflated a Kalisan 18" to about 17" with helium and hifloat, and now I notice it has several pinholes in it.
I know these usually aren't that dangerous, but I'm still a bit worried.
Hopefully, balloon will shrink a little bit over the next few days, it feels pretty tight now..

19 days I believe. It kinda just hovers around now at 12". Not bad for a helium balloon.
I'll tie it to another balloon and hang it on my desk.

15 days and it has started to sag a little bit, but still about 13" and still floating.
Nice balloon still.

Filled a red sempertex 18 with helium 10 days ago, and its still floating.
Gone from about 17" with a tiny neck, to a little more than 13", but it still has lift. Used less hifloat than last time, but I think I coated it way better. This balloon is just much lighter than the previous one.

6 days: about 12" now, sagging just a little bit over the floor.
Not sure if I used too much hifloat(it got quite heavy), but at the same time, not sure for how long they will float with it.
6 days instead of 1 day is an improvement, though...

After 5 days: shrunk from around 18" to about 13", but still hovering, though it seems like the string is starting to drag it down. Probably gonna hover for another day or two. Thought I used too much hifloat on it, but maybe I missed a spot or something?

Worth it though, haven't shrunk a bit even a day later, and it actually got more lift to it once it dried.

That said, the less I deal with this goo, the better.

I know its good for saving helium, but I hate hifloat.
Used a recommended dose for a 18", inflated it fully while keeping it under cover just in case it bursts.
Eagerly waiting to play while it dries, only to discover the balloon barely has any lift.

While cleaning up goo that still got everywhere.

Got hifloat, I wanna apply it to a 16"-18", but so afraid of a burst and getting the shit everywhere when inflating.
Also getting visitors in a few days, so I'll probably just wait until I know I can keep it for 7-10 days.
