Another very sad day…

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.

This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

Check out this very awesome project. It puts a face and tells stories about LGBTQ+ folks, and puts a human face on those facing discrimination and oppression. The more that happens, the harder it is for people to hate/oppress them, and/or turn a blind eye.

I’m trying to figure out the purpose and meaning of social media in my life right now. Yes, it’s become a dumpster fire, but there seems to me there is some benefit to some kind of virtual connection. The question is, what is it? And, how will all the musician, artists and writers connect?
