It reminds me a lot of when splatoon was like "oh no! our playerbase is playing our game advertised as a game you don't have to take coordinated fights in to contribute, and not taking high speed coordinated fights! we HAVE to fix this."

I get why they went in this direction, but over the past bit I've actually sort of like the idea that my moves and guys are gonna be dog doodoo for most of the game. Even-leveled pokemon teams are just not gonna beat a human. Them having so many advantages was meant to feel like beating the odds.

It's a fun area! I'll have to see if reservations are still mandatory for the toadstool cafe, I remember when the area first opened the reserve times were WIIILD they had to start making sure you were on site before you could reserve so it wouldn't fill up immediately

my energy has just kinda moved to trying to be there in person whenever regulations are on the table locally. obviously this isn't exactly gonna do much for controversial artists, so this might not be help for this situation, at all lol, i just didn't wanna entirely pessimism doom post

I think this one I might have a little bit more leeway personally if only because I just straight up don't know any furry artist controversies other than fiddleafox racist. But yeah most of it is just be being way more pessimistic nowadays on telling people where to spend their money.

game sounds like it's gonna sell like hotcakes but my worry is that some higher up is gonna be like "See? pokopia sold well! the people actually DO like game-key cards!!"
