I am an AGU LANDiNG fellow and we got an email two weeks ago that the program is temporarily paused, but I will be surprised if it’s restarted

Day 1 is devastating and reading the news sends me into a spiral. I can’t engage on social media, not even here. I’m going to focus on teaching undergrads science, mentoring grad students and other early career scientists, and be present for my kids. Hopefully, I can engage at some level soon

Being at the interface of Geosciences and Ecology means attending #AGU2024 in December and #SICB2025 in January. I need to switch off between these bc it’s too much back to back during winter break.
