The Trump admin just fired eight immigration judges in New York City.

All the judges were dismissed from the immigration offices at 26 Federal Plaza — a building that houses the NYC headquarters of ICE and has become the epicenter of migrant arrests in the city.

Aaaaaand…this is exactly why the six lawmakers needed to remind servicemembers about not obeying unlawful orders (this will get driven home when Hegseth gets a pardon but no one else does)

OK, This NYT Hegseth PR piece is unbelievable, but I want to point out two specific ways why.

1. "As that operation unfolded, they said, Mr. Hegseth did not give any further orders to him."

This sentence says nothing new, and only raises further questions about WHY NOT; it does not clear him.
