Everything is locked and dimensioned from what I can tell. When I load it into a new proj, it seems to work sometimes. It's a real head scratcher!

I'm finally back to that complex Revit family of ganged electrical fixtures. I resolved the issue of the symbol size thanks to @twiceroadsfool.bsky.social suggestion, but now I can't figure out why it's not behaving the same when I put it in a project vs. in the family environment. Help please!

My mom wants to make a quilt with the pattern from the front door of her ancestral home in India, where she spent summers growing up. I have this 20-year-old picture that I used to make a Revit family, to get the shadows for a 3D effect.

That makes sense. I'll test it out and see how long it would take to update all of them.

I'm not sure that this solves my problem, though, because I think it would still be 2 separate parameters for each device for the size and type, no?

Need some help here with a complex #Revit family. See the image below for more detail. I have one approach, but I'm open to others that may be simpler for the user.

Making some doors and noticed a difference between the opening graphics for ones that used the "opening cut" vs. "void" to cut through the door - opening cut was showing gray. Discovered a checkbox in the options bar for "opening cut" to make it transparent in both 3D and Elevation. Problem solved!

I did just request the archive of my account, but I'm leaning toward leaving it, although I may go back and delete some tweets, we'll see.

Moving over to here, will slowly copy over the best tips and tricks from my other feed to then shut that one down.
