And now my pet peeve--getting the 1893 World's Fair wrong. The Music Hall was near the Court of Honor so they apparently are calling the Palace of Fine Arts a Music Hall? And the way onto Wooded Island was from the east. THERE WAS NO PATH. This is not in any sense a restoration. /end

And the timing is smart--the desire lines grew because of the Cherry Trees which will probably start doing their thing in a month. So, they will tear up and block the path just in time for Hanami. MSI is desperate to connect to the OPC from the get go, so new path cutting through the trees. 2/n

You pay politicians to get re-elected, not to govern well.
You pay reporters to get a bigger audience, not to tell the truth.

Wrong term? I meant those who produce no value. They
profit from the churn, load the debt on others, people lose jobs and services, especially in smaller towns. Businesses vanish or limp along like ghosts. I'm lamenting WGN right now and the Tribune. Sears, ToysRUs, True Value Hardware.
