This is the Russian LNG tanker ARCTIC METAGAZ (IMO 9243148) struck by a massive explosion in the Mediterranean this morning. At the time of the suspected naval drone attack, she was fully loaded near Murmansk with about 4 tanks of LNG. That's around $60 million worth in Russian gas.

FAQs: What it’s like to be a woman in Afghanistan today | UN Women – Headquarters What is the state of women's rights in Afghanistan today? Explore the data, frequently asked questions, and what the world must do to stand with Afghan women.

Tell that to Afghanistan's women. At least they got to go to high school under communism.
I'm not saying communism is good. It's evil in its own way. But men often don't look at how a government affects a country's women, just the men.

If we hadn't armed the Mujahideen in Afghanistan in β€˜79, it's doubtful if the attacks on 9/11/01 would have happened.
As far as Afghanistan's women go, are they better off under today's Taliban than they were under communism?
There are worse things than communism.

Healthcare already costs more in Alaska than the rest of the country – but DC politicians are raising those costs for tens of thousands of Alaskans while cutting deals for themselves. This system is so broken.

Factory trawlers are destroying our fisheries and leaving Alaskans to deal with the consequences.

Alaskans rely on fishing to feed their families. We should be reining in the trawl industry, not restricting Alaskans ability to put food on their tables and fill their freezers.

I’m fed up by self-dealing DC politicians looking out for themselves and their billionaire donors while ignoring the rest of us.

It’s time for term limits.

The things we need to survive are getting too expensive to afford and the politicians in DC aren’t doing a damn thing about it.

Alaskans rely on things like Medicaid, public media, and disaster relief. Especially rural Alaska. We deserve a senator who will stand up and fight for them.
