Once I found out that improving at art was actually 10% drawing and 90% actually understanding fundamentals and how they work, improvement became so so soooo much less daunting.

I hate this games as much as love them and it lowk sucks but you need that one game series to fill that niche on your gaming life
not all games you play need to be things you 100% love sometimes you need those games where you love them but you also wanna scream at them for being kinda stupid

Forever in a toxic love hate relationship with the Dark Souls trilogy

Ds2 the game that lets you have as much freedom as you want with any build but fuck tank builds in particular ig

Like cmon let me at minumun tank 2 hits before getting staggered is that too much to ask

Dont even make me mention how goddamn long the stagger animation is like jesus it feels eternal

The only time armor is affective is when dealing with proyectiles and when dealing with undead dogs
Other then that it feels like my armor is made outta fucking cardboard

And i havent even mention enemy attacks that do hyperstagger and will break poise yes or yes if it hits

Its even more agregious cuz now your weighload doesnt increase by leveling up endurance but by leveing up vitality (health is now vigor)

Not only is borderline useless, in order to have a decent looking armor and not fat roll with it you need to also put points into another stat because

Like yeah i understand that in Ds1 it could lowkey get too busted and some balance needed to be done but for the love of god in Ds2 you can just poise through at most
ONE common enemy attack and thats if youre lucky if there wasnt another mf to hit you right after and break your stance right away

Deadass Ds2 would be infinitely better and even more fun to play if poise wasnt so abysmally nerfed
