Huh, that makes sense! I feel like it could be solved with tech, one pedal could have a small zone under the acceleration spot of the pedal to automatically coast. But very interesting

Out of curiosity, when is it less efficient? I love it on my ioniq and it’s hard to imagine having any more control over the amount of energy I need at any given moment

Now I gotta ask, where do you get ipa in bulk? It’s unbelievable that most stores don’t carry it, how does Home Depot sell every cleaning chemical known to man but not ipa

I’ve no experience reading jit logic and I thought it was very well organized, splitting the high level and the ppc crate.

I get what you’re saying, but he covers the Wild so it makes sense to focus on the Wild players here

Do it! It’s great and not terribly long either, if you’ve beat wonder you could probably play world in under 10 hrs

I’ve done a little research in the past, and it seems like it’s their electrical company rebuilding infrastructure and passing the bill. Presumably at some point they lower the cost once infra is done being rebuilt? lol

Netflix is very efficient, for them it’s mostly the bandwidth. The cost of them encoding and streaming video is incredibly low per stream. The difference with AI is that it is many times less efficient, combined with a very speedy rollout that’s requiring burning large amounts of fossil fuels

Energy companies know that renewables are cheaper and are investing heavily in them, alongside the investors who get one time passive income. We just need to cut the red tape around approving expansions to the grid, or build a process that makes that better/safer.

100% this video. Buying a house this month and everyone who knows me asks β€œare you going solar?” I don’t want to, the economies of scale here make it much cheaper for the energy company to do so, but increasingly we’re in a position where individuals are the only ones who can make a change

TIL about Bun's BUN_CONFIG_VERBOSE_FETCH variable. Logs all fetch calls to the console as a curl command for debugging! Saved me a lot of time building an integration today

As a modern crt enthusiast, maybe? CRTs tend to be very bright unless they’re worn out, a lot of games had to use dimmer variants of textures to account for the brightness. Blurrier is definitely true especially for composite video, but some tvs handle it very well and there were other video signals

The waterfalls actually don’t rely on the crt phosphors for this effect! It’s the fringe pixels from composite video that cause it, playing sonic through Genesis rgb on a crt has no waterfall effect

For mods like these they come with install guides, although… for this one I kinda yolo’d it to keep the model 1 port πŸ˜‚ id say unless you’re designing these mods you don’t need formal education, just a good soldering iron

True, I guess I was thinking more of the n64 error with its 20fps games or xbox/playstation 30fps games. For nes/snes/genesis this monitor could be awesome

If they can get it working at lower refresh rates it would be super cool though, fingers crossed

I don’t think it’d be very good for retro gaming tbh, the blur reduction comes from the flashing between pixel changes. Since it can’t do this below 75hz anything retro that can’t be emulated at high refresh rates is off the table

I love the visuals of path tracing but intel is selling budget (ugh) gpus and focusing on a super solid experience is definitely worth perusing rather than the raw compute that path tracing requires

This is really cool but is there a reason to jump on this vs wait for fsr 4? To me it looks like a big enough upgrade that’ll likely be thrown into the next gen without additional cost
