Someone close to my family was stalked by ICE. This person has no accent, no cultural garb, no criminal record, and has lived in the US their whole life. The only reason they were followed is because ICE is profiling people with darker skin tones.

The amount of shit I got for this segment at the time was astronomical, and it was all from people who now stalk CVS employees to get them fired for insufficient online sadness.

Cheering on political violence is both evil and not new, an outgrowth of an internet intentionally dismantled years ago.

So many people feel overwhelmed while scrolling and there’s a reason for that. Bots are a large part of the problem. We’ve been breaking down how to spot them. After tracking bot groups that push narratives and attacks, we found some common traits:

It took me 23 years to even come out to myself and another two to come out to all the important people in my life. I’m trying to break into professional acting and I still hesitate to mention my husband during auditions because I’m nervous that homophobia might cost me a role.
