Mercy opened the lid with a casual move, looking down at the little occupant in it. He was so shocked that for a moment he forgot what he wanted to say. He just stared back at the towering figure who had a mischievous smile on her face. Without saying another word, Mercy put her phone down, propping it against the wall, then grabbed the pen that was lying next to the container on the table. Keeping it close to the wall, she dropped it into the container, not really caring about where it would land or if it would cause harm to the tiny person inside. The pen landed with its tip, then, after bouncing back slightly, leaned against the glass wall. Noah was frightened, and by the time his heart rate calmed, the lid was back on the container, and the giant blonde had another annoying smile on her face. “What the feck was that?!” he shouted, slamming his fist on the wall. “You want to kill me or what?!”

Once more, what to Linda had been an acceptable, library speaking tone, to the frightened stranger came out as a bellowing roar, further terrifying the small man. His reaction to her assurance was to turn and begin to scramble to his feet so he could flee. “Ah…no…where are you going…you can’t…sir stop please?” Linda cringed, asking meekly and shimming forward on her haunches to keep up with the slow, but terrified man. “Go away, go away! Leave me alone!” The man begged, in his haste falling once more, this time forward, the tiny threads of the commercial carpet much more difficult for him to travel on than for Linda. The man's frantic pleas tugged at the strings of Linda’s heart, causing her to wonder what might have happened to cause such fear. Surely she didn’t look that terrifying, and she was a public employee, who was on the list of safe people to approach for help for Small’s and Micro’s who were separated from their caregiver.

Not written out, but wanted to do a shot of the 'lunch' Linda forces on Andrew at the end of chapter 4. In my head cannon they have a good time, as long as he can't see anything under protective blinders of a bent flashcard.

He was in her hand, Andrew, her tiny library tenant, had trusted her enough to crawl into her hand. He looked so small, so vulnerable, so helpless. Gone was the bravado she knew so well when he exchanged verbal blows with her. Gone was the sarcastic wit, and the know it all mansplainer, all of that…gone. Replaced by a small, frail little man, hugging his knees to his chest, eyes tightly closed, trusting her with his life.

“So, basically I, Robot?” Andrew took three steps back, he could feel Linda’s footsteps against the carpeted floor, her shadow blocked the sliver of light that broke through the space above the books, causing him to tense up. “Urg, hardly, I, Robot borrowed the wardrobe and a few lines, but The Caves of Steel walked so that movie could trip over itself. Please don’t compare the two, I may have to reconsider your tenancy if you do, sir.” Linda ran a finger along the outside spine of the The Caves of Steel, her tongue escaped her mouth, moistening dry lips. She would have to tell him eventually, even if not right now. The renovations would affect him more than anyone else. This was his home, after all.

Nina always had difficulty with her tinies. They were good toys, but easily distracted by their own desires. This past week they had been well behaved at least. Listening to her when she asked them to stay put, or not ending up in places they weren't suppose to when feeling frisky. As a reward Nina decided to let them explore her body while she relaxed with a book. Had she paid more attention, she might have put some thought behind the objects they were bringing with them on their excursion.

Why you shouldn't leave your toys unsupervised. Don't put tinies on your boobs if they are sporting a straw.
