Excuse the delay in posting this, but I've been a little ... tied up. Apropos HAVEN : Restrained is August 22nd. We'll have performances, vendors, and all sorts of after dark entertainment. As always, I'll be providing the tunes to bump and grind to. See you on the dancefloor.

Yeah, it's an animated movie that's also a musical. It's about a band that has to learn to sing together with honesty and vulnerability. The heroes battle an evil band that tries to break them apart. Ultimately, the heroes perform this great song that they use to defeat a demon and save the world.

Local goth night had a "show up in armor" theme. I danced in it. I lasted three hours on the stage. It stayed on the whole night. If I can fight in it, I can dance in it. However, if I have to choose between a line battle in 90° heat and the stage of a goth night, I pick the line battle every time.

And I just lost the other half of my sleeping tent. Totally flooded out. Somehow, The Witchhouse is still standing. I guess I live here now.

Just got back from Boston Pride and No Kings. All safe and sound. I am happy to live in a city that knows how to be on the right side of history. Bonus points I have a new fan.

We will have some schedule changes over the summer months. This June, our Tim Burton themed event will be on Friday, June 20th. We will still have all of our musical and costumed festivities just a week sooner than normal. We look forward to seeing you all for ... SHOWTIME.

I saw "Bring Her Back" last night. This movie is an absolute banger. I'd put it down as a must watch for horror fans. It is, however, not for the faint of heart. It's not needlessly gory, but it certainly does not pull its punches. Another win for A24 horror.

Apparently, in my world, spring cleaning means tearing apart and reorganizing my LARP and costuming closets at midnight.

It's humbling how an event that has been going for almost 30 years can still surprise me. I am only a small part of HAVEN, P, Buffy, Scott, Chris, and many others work behind the scenes to keep this community alive. Thank you to all of you who attend HAVEN. I'll see you on May 30th. We love you.

Today is Easter, 4/20, and Wrestlemania. Whatever your reason for celebration I hope you have a good one.
