Graduate students at Hopkins are paid to be there. They are (brutally overworked) employees.

No, it is literally the hospital and the medical school.

There are 6k undergrads with ~15% international, at an assumed tuition of 100k/yr, is only $90m/yr.

JHU pulls in > $3B/yr in research dollars.

That said, most foreign grad students don't "pay tuition" - they are underpaid labor. And the college is tiny.

The two medical schools (JHU + UMD) are doing to lose >$1B in NIH funding. The hospitals will also feel pain, as medicaid is gutted.
