An image of a note that reads: Taking the rest of this week off, and next week maybe too. We’ll see. As for why: My mental state has been absolutely shit lately. The smallest things causing significant spirals. This is, obviously, not a good state to be in while trying to be mostly-upbeat and entertaining. I’d rather have fun with you guys, not be a complete downer. A big contributor to that current state is that I was basically given an ultimatum wherein one choice was more or less unattainable. The end result is I have to absolutely ensure that I make no more than a particular maximum amount per year from all sources of income unless I can somehow manage to get a normal job. I’m pretty sure most of you know how well the job thing has been going. Now, it might be a bit greedy of me, but there was a hope that - some day - I would be able to rely on streaming or commissions to live on while properly supporting myself. Getting a job has been hopeless, so I put my hope into that. There is no more hope in that. And so, while I love streaming and making things for people to death, I’ve lost my hope that it will be enough in the long run. I’m still going to stream, draw for people, but what am I going to do on the practical side of things? So, taking the week and maybe next week off. Gonna throw/force myself into drawing, working on projects, as much as I can slam my face into metaphorically. Maybe I’ll find some hope somewhere in there, maybe not, it just seems like the thing to do to not fall too far down into despair. That said, love you guys a ton and can not express my thanks to you all enough. I’ll be around a bit, but may be quiet during this. Take care of yourselves!
