Like, I don’t care how a superhero would do things realistically, they dress in spandex and fight crime. I wanna see them do wild shit, not realism.
And I doubt the game is actually about realism, but it just…pushes me away from it.

Anyone ever feel repulsed from a game, not because of the game, or even the marketing for it, but because of the way fans are talking about it?
By which I mean, I keep getting videos about Dispatch recommended on YouTube and they’re all “Realistic way a superhero X” and I couldn’t be less interested

Yeah, it goes all the way back to her DMing EXU. Tbh, there were a few valid complaints, but there was also so much vitriol that it definitely wasn’t good faith.
Also, a surprising amount of people were willing to watch multiple 4 hour episodes of a thing they hated, and then complain about it.
