Definitely been catching up on sleep since being back from the hospital. I do gotta admit, I have picked up a habit of having a small meal at the witching hour. Something about having a few slices of toast or a crumpet and a cup of tea before going back to sleep again is quite nice haha

Glaz could still use some help with some funds while he’s recovering from being in the hospital, so I’m gonna be running a donation stream TOMORROW, 13th Feb!

Gonna do a casual run of SS2 remaster - come hang out, chip in a few bucks to help the big fox, and watch a wuff play games :3

They just informed me that they forgot to include the price of the x ray and the ct scan. So it would've been $94k. That's such a life ruining amount, jeeez

As a thought exercise, I asked @a-dragon-from.space , who has worked in private health care, to estimate how much my 4 day hospital stint would cost if I was in America.

They came to the price of $78k uninsured. What a terrifying concept 😬

Apparently I was a super unusual case in that I had abdominal scarring akin to having had surgery that would explain why this happened... But I havent had any abdominal surgery (except for like when I was 1 to fix a hernia)

About to be discharged from the ward and will be collecting all the various medicines I need to continue to take for the rest of the week. Got a scheduled follow up appointment in 4 weeks time to try and find out why this all happened.

Overheard my case report on the nurse change over rounds, definitely sounds like I'm going to be discharged later today and have a follow up clinic appointment in 4 weeks time.

Everyone else got a 5 minute break down and mine was over in 30 seconds, haha.
