There is exactly one Texas diner in Los Angeles serving fried green tomatoes, chicken fried, steak, grits, and biscuits with gravy, and it’s in a Culver City.

My auntie lived in Baldwin Hills and hiked these steps up this hill in the background every day. I love that I can see it from the only place in L.A. with real NYC pizza, rainbow cake, and black & white cookies. La Rocco’s if you’re hungry. πŸ•

AI = just a faster Google search. Overhyped. Not worth the Data Centers taking 1.7 liters of fresh potable water for each search. Not worth higher electric bills to subsidize the billionaires. We didn’t vote for that.

The reason they’re going to stuff you all into concentration warehouses instead of camps this time is because you have drones now and might take pictures.

Shout out to the Atlanta woman who took my call at AAA to explain some very complicated math for my policy, but took great delight in hearing that there is breaking news from the Supreme Court. These little moments, bring us all together in resistance.

If they can arrest a prince, you can arrest a president.

Thou shalt arrest the Epstein criminals in the USA.

Git β€˜r’ done.

The Lord has spoken. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

She never lived to see this moment, but it’s worth remembering that none of this would have happened without Virginia Giuffre.

She had the courage to speak out against power and privilege when it was just her word against Andrew’s.

Thanks to her, justice & accountability may finally have its day.

Anthropic didn’t want us to know that they were destroying millions of books to feed their software. Companies making machine learning and generative software aren’t just metaphorically ripping off books. In at least one case, they’re rather literally shredding millions of physical books to …

β€œAI giant Anthropic ran a massive program called Project Panama where they spent tens of millions of dollars to hoover up used books, which they then sliced, scanned, and pulped.”

Installing a new display at the Weston Library takes time and precision.

Dancing with Jane Austen is now open, featuring rare loans from Jane Austen’s House, including a manuscript music book copied in Jane Austen’s own hand.

Enjoying the sun and blue orbs in Sydney. It’s still a very somber place in Bondi Beach. The sun still rises & folks are grieving. Thankful for the reactions here for gun control & speaking out against extremism and violence. It’s a crack in the tranquility but a different response than in the U.S.
