Update: theyβve been taken off-saleβ¦
Iβm assuming the club will honour sales made while the area was open to it, but if that applies to you perhaps double-check that the tickets are still in your purchase history.

Matchday sales now open in the safe standing area for the upcoming game vs Derby for those without a season ticket that have been patiently waiting for a chance to try out the new area #bskyblades
tickets.sufc.co.uk/en-GB/events...
Do share any feedback you have on the area afterwards, and enjoy the game!
20.09.2025 10:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There will also be some gaps in the area β understandably a day out from the game isnβt ideal for fans to transfer season tickets across, and the club while they seek to make this area season ticket only arenβt going to be opening the area up to matchday sales (may change post-Southampton game π€)
20.09.2025 10:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There will probably be some teething problems as this opens for the first few games, so would advise some patience from those in the area today β particularly for fans who may not for whatever reason have seen any of the comms this last month or so on the opening of the new area (hopefully not many)
20.09.2025 10:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The new Safe Standing area opens today at last, over 34 years since the last standing tickets on the Kop were sold.
The area gives fans a choice to stand at games with the clubβs blessing, and the hope is that this will also add to the atmosphere for the benefit of all at the ground #bskyblades
Ahead of safe standingβs debut on Saturday, David & Sam from @thepinch.uk invited me on to chat about the background to the campaign and how it developed to be brought in.

Now open to all STHs. The information from the ticket office has been that while itβs mostly single spaces on KB2-4, there is some availability for groups to be placed together in the KB1 area #bskyblades
18.09.2025 10:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Todayβs the last day for Kop season ticket holders that want to move into the new Safe Standing area to do so before itβs opened up to STHs in other stands.
Should spaces remain, these will be available from tomorrow morning for anyone looking to move their season ticket across #bskyblades
Great to chat to fans that braved the rain to drop by the Kop this evening. Well done to @sufc-fab.bsky.social for adding the extra session.
All ready for Saturdayβs game, the away section complete too. If youβre a STH looking to move in from other stands, email safe.standing@sufc.co.uk
Last chance before Saturday for fans considering a move into or out of the new Safe Standing area to come and take a look at the area and view from specific seats theyβre considering.
For fans moving out, worth looking at the seats available vs Saints in KM1-KM4 before arriving to then view these
Hello Blades,
Safe Standing Update: For those of you who want to see the safe standing on the Kop first-hand, but haven't yet had time to do so, the Fan Advisory Board is hosting another viewing session, TONIGHT (15th September) between 6pm and 8pm.
www.sufc.co.uk/news/2025/se...
2nd chance to see the new section from 1-3pm today β these sessions have been useful for those thinking of moving to see what the view from the available seats in the section would be like, or as an opportunity for those moving out of the area to scout the other seat options. Access via the Fan Zone
11.09.2025 08:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This image, snapped from a video posted by SUFC Fan Services in the other place, shows the long sleeved versions of the lovely new kits on hangers attached to the lovely new rails β potentially due to lack of hanger space in the club shop. Fans are advised not to bring coat hangers into the new safe standing section.
The new Safe Standing section will give fans the opportunity to stand for the full game while watching United for the first time since the Kop was redeveloped.
It also doubles up as a clothes rail.

Welcome to @sufc-fab.bsky.social who are now a step ahead of the club in having an active presence here!
The FAB have been a key partner in bringing safe standing to Bramall Lane, and recently announced a number of new members and an updated Fan Engagement Strategy www.sufc.co.uk/fans/fan-eng...
If youβve already gone through the process to move in or out of the new Safe Standing area, how straightforward has it been to sort out? Monitoring issues as they arise to try and feed back to the club, so if youβve any feedback reply below or drop us a DM.
05.09.2025 13:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Fans at this eveningβs season opener for SUFC Women can get a view from afar of the progress on the installation works for the new Safe Standing area.
For a closer look, Kop STHs can drop by the ground Monday 8th (4-6pm) or Thursday 11th (1-3pm) to view the new area. Details in the clubβs email.
All Kop STHs shouldβve been emailed now re: safe standing, inc:
β details for those wanting to move out of the area
β details for those wanting to move into the area
β opportunities to view it all before deciding
If you havenβt got it, email safe.standing@sufc.co.uk

Latest snaps on the new Safe Standing area β itβs nearly there!
The club is contacting STHs on the Kop imminently β aware that some had notice yesterday, should hopefully be done for all Kop STHs by the end of the day to help facilitate moves in/out of the area

Congrats to Ben, @panchero.bsky.social and Jay before for 8 years of top quality podcasting and for being a key part of the weekly routine of being a United fan for many. During the bleakest times in that period, episodes were like essential therapy sessions. Good luck for whatβs next, and thank you
27.08.2025 19:34 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The club should be contacting fans STHs in these rows
Fans that want to remain in the area as itβs converted to safe standing donβt need to do anything, but anyone looking to relocate should contact the club on Safe.Standing@sufc.co.uk
Some easy visual markers of where the edge of the safe standing area will be:
1. From the back, itβs down to (but not including) the white seats that mark the top of the SUFC lettering
2. NN is the last of the rows that has the slightly wider space on the gangways as you walk down
π For those interested in moving their season tickets into the new safe standing area, this will depend on the numbers available once any moves out have happened.
The club has set up a dedicated email address for enquiries: Safe.Standing@sufc.co.uk
Update on the installation of the rails to form the safe standing area, confirming areas:
π΄ NN to AF on the Kop (back 18 rows)
βͺοΈ in the away end, block H and part of G
π§ work begins soon
The club are contacting all STHs affected to give any the option to relocate
