Out in the country today. Grass fire active near my folks property, and I came out to be sure it wasn't too close. (It's not.) I could only get close enough to see smoke, and watch them drop water on it from helicopters. Whew!

End of a great day with family. Finale was egg nog spiked with butter cake moonshine!

Had a blast at a friendsmas get together last night, and spent part of today cooking food to take to my brother's for Christmas with the family tomorrow. My folks are no longer with us, but I'm blessed to be able to hang with my brother and his family. Wishing all a peaceful holiday season.
